What is extra virgin olive oil?

Extra virgin olive oil is the highest quality grade: obtained from olives purely by mechanical means, without any chemical treatment, with free acidity below 0.8%. All Veroliva oils are extra virgin grade.

What does cold pressed mean?

Cold pressed means the olives are pressed at temperatures below 27°C (80°F). Low temperature preserves the aroma, vitamins and antioxidants. At Veroliva, the entire harvest is processed by cold pressing.

What makes early harvest olive oil special?

Early harvest olives are picked while still green. The yield is lower, but the polyphenol (antioxidant) content is much higher and the aroma is more intense, with grassy notes. That is why early harvest oils are more prized.

How should olive oil be stored?

Keep it sealed, away from light and heat, in a cool (14-18°C) dark place. Dark glass bottles or tins protect the oil from light. Properly stored olive oil stays fresh for 18-24 months.

Is your olive oil natural and additive-free?

Yes. Our oils are made from 100% olives, with no additives, preservatives or refining. Olives picked from our own family groves are pressed on the same day.

Do you ship internationally?

Do you supply bulk olive oil?
